Welcome to my gallery!
Here you will find a collection of the animals, moments, and stories that have spoken to me along the way.
Each piece reflects the connection I feel with my subjects and the quiet spirit they carry, whether it’s a beloved companion, a gentle glance, or a memory captured on paper.
I invite you to explore, pause, and enjoy the animals and personalities that fill my world.
Thank you for spending a little time in my studio and sharing in the Art, Animals & Spirit that inspire my work.
ORIGINAL ART:
"SUNRISE ROYAL GEMSTONE" This is my own beloved mare, in her signature pink show ribbons and bridle. She is completely retired now, and living out her life as the boss mare of the pasture. This was my first artwork to be published in CP Hidden Treasure Vol. 8. 9x12"
"BANDIT" A memorial portrait of my sweet Bandit. This small drawing was what reignited my long dormant passion for drawing and colored pencils. Apx 4x6"
"SUNSET SILOUETTES" Adapted from a quick cellphone camera shot taken by my husband, my two horses, Bandit and Sunnie were silhouetted against a blazing late summer sunset. I chose to draw this on black paper to preserve the dramatic lighting.
"WATCHING THE WORLD GO AROUND" What if carousel horses were secretly alive? I'm so very proud of this creative drawing. It was displayed at the Mosaic Art Experience Fall '24 Exhibit. 9x12"
"GINGER" Drawn as a Mastermind challenge issued by one of my artist mentors. This was also displayed in the Mosaic Art Experience Fall '24 exhibit. 9x12"
COMMISSIONS:
"HAILEY'S ELEPHANT" Commissioned by a good friend for his elephant loving 9 year old daughter, Hailey. 12x9"
"GREYSON" A memorial portrait of a much loved, special needs dog. Please note: This is a photograph of the completed drawing, and as a result it looks very washed out and odd. I hadn't yet purchased the scanner I use now. 12x9"
"GWENDOLYN" Beloved lifelong companion to one of my best friends, Gwenie was among my first artworks to be exhibited in a prestigious local show. 9x12"
"SAMUS" Memorial portrait gifted to the daughter of my lifelong best friend. I have it on good account that Taylor cried and cried when she saw her beloved cat again. 12x9"
"THERESA'S BOYS" Left to right, Aries, Merlyn and Remy. Capturing each horses unique personality was a real joy, and each portrait is only approximately 5-6" square. The entire piece is 15x12"
"KOKI'S DAY OUT" I was honored to have this delightful portrait selected for inclusion in Ann Kullberg's Pencil Box segment in the March '25 edition of her Color Magazine. Koki was commissioned by a good friend as a gift to her mother. 9x12"
"Pea" was my moms beloved companion for nearly 20 years. 7 x 5.5"
